The next option is to link your Chromecast device to your Google account, tap Sign in and follow the steps.Tap Continue after you have entered the password, it’ll take some time to configure the wireless connection.Tap No Thanks to type the password manually. Chromecast can automatically fetch the WiFi password from your phone. Now, connect your Chromecast to your WiFi network using the app.Tap Continue to proceed further with Chromecast setup process.

Also, you can disable (enabled by default) Guest Mode it allows people who are not connected to your WiFi network to cast content using a four digit pin. Untick the first checkbox if you don’t want to send crash reports to Google. On the next screen, you can change the name of your Chromecast device.

Tap Yes if the code displayed on your phone screen is also present on your TV screen.

Wait till your device connects to Chromecast’s temporary hotspot.

Tap Continue on the next screen that shows details about your device.

If it doesn’t, navigate to the Devices section by tapping the icon (with a screen and remote) in the top-right corner of the screen.

Google Home will automatically display a message about the Chromecast.

Now, open the Google Home app on your Android phone or tablet.

Make sure you have selected the correct HDMI input source.

Connect the Chromecast to a power source and your TVs HDMI port.
